Mango Butter For Your Skin

Mango Butter

Mango Butter is extracted from kernels of the mango. Mango butter hydrates the skin and contains natural emollient qualities that help keep your skin moisturized, therefore when applied to the scalp it helps restore and maintain moisture and promote cell regeneration giving you a healthy scalp that in turn results in healthy hair growth.  Mango butter has similar qualities as cocoa butter and shea butter in the way of consistency and benefits, but it contains higher levels of fatty acid making it a more intensive moisturizer.  Lack of moisture in the hair can result in weak, brittle hair and in turn leads to breakage and ultimately hair loss. Mango butter contains high levels of antioxidants and beneficial vitamins A, C, and E.

Antioxidants destroy free radicals, free radicals are generated by the effect of UV sunlight on your skin, and also by pesticides, cigarette smoke and other pollutants. Antioxidants maintain the proper structure of your skin, helping you to keep looking youthful.

It can be used  to provide relief from the dryness of eczema and psoriasis. Effectively treats dry skin, skin peeling after tanning, clears blemishes and wrinkles, relieves itching skin, heals sunburn, moisturizes and smooths tough or rough skin, fights off fine lines and wrinkles.

Some of the most valuable for skin acids in this butter are stearic, oleic (46%), linoleic acids (unsaturated Omega-6 fatty acid). It contains vitamins A, high amount of vitamin E, C, D, group B vitamins, folic acid, calcium, iron, and magnesium.

Mango butter protects skin from sun damage, so it has been used more in UV protection products.
